Ik zoek levenslustige en toch (waar het moet) ernstige jongelui -Dames en/of Heren- tussen 16 jaar (dit is écht het minimum...) en 45 jaar. { Uitzonderingen blijven wél mogelijk ! }

De vloer van de kamer (12 m2) is noch van hout, noch vasttapijt, maar tegels (gemakkelijk te onderhouden).

Hier staat een tweepersoonsbed (breedte 160 cm - lengte 200 cm).

!!! Aan wie met z'n tweetjes in plaats van alleen wil komen moet ik een extra vragen van 50 €/maand voor warmwaterverbruik (keuken en badkamer) omwille van de hoge prijzen voor aardgas... SORRY !

Balkon-terras : Zuid-West-kant geeft uit op vrij groene tuintjes en overdekte garages/werkhuizen (???), echter niet hoger dan gelijkvloers. Onlangs heeft de eigenaar van die "garages" (De Gemeente Ganshoren) aangekondigd dat ze zouden gesloopt worden en de werken schieten inderdaad aardig op. Wat we in de plaats gaan krijgen is nog niet geweten. Overburen vrij ver uit zicht.

Drie van de vier gevels zijn voorzien van ramen : ZEER VEEL DAGLICHT !!!!

--- Voor wie een vriend(in) of EEN kennis voor een ZEER BEPERKTE PERIODE een onderdak wil verlenen, staat verder nog een "hulp-bed" in de leefkamer ter beschikking, natuurlijk voor minder dan 500 €/maand ..... ;-) ;-)

Zowel living als keuken geven uit op VEEL GROEN aan de voorgevel en de overburen zijn zo ver dat ze als "onbestaande" mogen beschouwd worden.

Aangeraden wordt, veelvuldig gebruik te maken van de living (28m2), zowel om te studeren of om er te werken als om er mensen te ontvangen.

(Krijg je 's avonds bezoek voor een etentje of zo, dan zeg je me vantevoren of je liever hebt dat ik thuis in jullie weg blijf lopen of dat je me liever een tijdje naar de maan ziet lopen. Zo simpel is dat.)

Frans en Nederlands zijn m'n eerste en tweede talen. Meine dritte Sprache ist Deutsch. English is only my fourth language; thus I'm not so good. Lei anche puo parlare italiano, ma, prego, l e n t i s s i m o ;-). Förlat : jag inte talar svenska (jag är flamländare) men jag förstaor lite. Ursäkta mig ! Os pido perdon : no hablo espanol { y no tengo el segno "tilde" tampoco ... ;-) }, pero Maria y su marido os pueden dar todas las informaciones que quereis. Estaban aqui. Yo tengo sus correos. De "tuin" is een grasperk met enkele bomen, houten tafels en banken, gelegen AAN DE OVERZIJDE VAN DE STRAAT. Het wordt onderhouden door de Overheid.... ;-) ;-) ;-) (Een deel in de zon, een deel in de schaduw....)

Er zijn nog twee andere parkjes vlakbij en GROTE GROENE zones op 15 min. stapvoets (ook per bus bereikbaar).

Er is geen wasmachine, maar er zijn twee wassalons in de buurt, waar je alles tegelijkertijd kan afhandelen (in verschillende machines wel te verstaan : 30, 40, 60, 90 ° ......).

Ik kan dit ook (en zelfs graag) in jouw plaats gaan doen, behalve natuurlijk meer 'intiem' underwear en zo; maar die kan je tot 30/40 °C in de badkamer zélf afhandelen en het een nachtje laten ophangen om te drogen.

Zone : Basiliek van KOEKELBERG : dichtsbijzijnde metro SIMONIS (NIEUWE lijnen 2 & 6 , sinds 4 april). MIVB bushalte "Nereus" (MIVB 84 & 87) "De Lijn" Brussel-Noord naar Aalst en/of Asse op 7 à 8 minuten stappen. Halte : "Heilig Hart College".

Laten jullie zich niet misleiden door de AFSTANDEN in km zoals ze er uitzien op plannetjes. Sinds 4 april 2009 heeft de MIVB zoals reeds gezegd opmerkelijke verbeteringen aangebracht op het net, zowel op sommige trajecten als op het vlak van de "frequenties".

Vanuit het "Simonis"-station zijn sindsdien heel wat andere plekken een flink stuk gemakkelijker bereikbaar geworden.

BOVENDIEN heeft de NMBS (de treinen) op 13.12.2009 ook het sinds jaren enkel voor doorgaand verkeer van goederen gebruikte SIMONIS-STATION, hernieuwd, opgefleurd en toegankelijk gemaakt voor REIZIGERS die meteen op de Metro kunnen stappen en op de bussen van de MIVB en van "De Lijn".

Net hetzelfde gebeurde aan het WESTSTATION : direkte toegang tot MIVB-metro, -bussen en -trams, plus bussen van "De Lijn" ! ! ! !

Belangrijker dan de afstanden zal voor jullie DE TIJD zijn, die de verplaatsingen in beslag nemen !!!!!!!! Je kan bij mij altijd terecht over info over de snelste verplaatsingsmogelijkheden naar en van je dagelijkse bestemming, ALS JE MAAR EEN PRECIES ADRES KAN OPGEVEN. (Bepaalde instellingen hebben in Brussel tot wel 7 verschillende adressen ...) DIT GELDT OOK ALS JE HELEMAAL NIET VAN PLAN BENT HIER TE KOMEN "HUIZEN" = deel van de legendarische Brusselse gastvrijheid.

Tussen ons gezegd : m'n HOBBY (in 't Nederlands "stokpaardje") is mensen "inwijden in onze "BROESSELSE BROUSSE" en hun de "gebruiksaanwijzing" van haar inwoners bij te brengen....

Huisdieren worden niet aanvaard. (Kan ik niets aan doen : huishoudelijk reglement van de huisbaas...) { Een poesje kan er misschien wel in, dat kan ik vragen, en een goudvis zeker, maar voor het overige : EERST ZEKER WETEN ! }

Internet met PC en kleuren-printer zijn beschikbaar en staan in de living (op "mijn" bureau). De telefoon ook. De draad ervan is echter lang genoeg om privé-gesprekken te kunnen voeren vanuit de kamers of zelfs vanop het terras.

Men kan een TV meebrengen en inschakelen op een bestaande kabel (voorgevel), maar het toestel zèlf bezit ik niet. (Evenmin als een radio.)

Wat telefoon en "Internet" betreft heb ik met 'Telenet' afspraken voor een forfaitair bedrag per maand, gelinkt aan een vooraf bepaald "volume". Ik toon je al die facturen en zo lang je "'binnen de perken" blijft, betaal je niets. Anders toont de factuur ons wat er bij te leggen is. OK ? (Andere afspraken, wat mij betreft ,ook mogelijk.)

WELKOM IN BRUSSEL (ook op een ander kot dan hier ....)

Zich hier laten domiciliëren mag zomaar niet : hiervoor moet VANTEVOREN de toestemming verkregen worden van de eigenaar van het gebouw, die dan extra belastingen zou moeten betalen en die deze kost zeker zou doorrekenen....

Méér (maar helaas geen betere) foto's van het "kot" op aanvraag verkrijgbaar.

Er is meestal wel voldoende parkeergelegenheid op straat en de buurt is "veilig".

BEN OP HEEL VEEL GEBIEDEN HEEL FLEXIBEL, maar natuurlijk niet op m'n leeftijd noch op m'n geslacht; de flat verhuizen naar een ander adres zal ook moeilijk zijn. ALLE ANDERE ITEMS ZIJN ECHTER WEL BESPREEKBAAR ! ! ! !

Qua centjes : een bankwaarborg van 500 € dient als bewijs van ons wederzijds akkoord over de contractvoorwaarden. Het bedrag van de huur wordt verwacht de voorlaatste werkdag (zaterdag niet inbegrepen) van de maand die betrekking heeft op maand waarvoor de huur wordt betaald.

Als je er zin in hebt kan je nu nog een beetje verderlezen. Veel plezier ermee !

1) Me.

Single man, born in ANDERLECHT, Belgium : 27.04.1946 (i.e. now 63 years old), smoker, hetero.

Thus, from the beginning I have been very lucky because not only I was born in my native village, but, on top, exactly the same date as all my following yearly anniversaries.

But more seriously now :

Working/studying mostly at home.

Behaving quite maturely despite my young age (20-30), which unfortunately one cannot watch directly because it's inside my brains only.

TO SUMMARIZE : both student and worker, and both old and young.

Cannot say same for "female/male"....

No pets. (By the way, as a rule, animals are not allowed in this building, but I COULD ask for derogation.)

Languages :

a) French : excellent, according to my own standards.

b) Dutch : very good c) German : acceptable

d) English : bad to AWFUL. { More evidences following soon. }

e) Italian : beginner

f) Swedish : beginner

g) Spanish : virtually none

h) Russian & Ukrainian, as well as up to 2.568 other languages : totally zero.

2) Situation of the building.

RIGHT BY BUS STOP "Nereus" - routes 84 & 87 (operated by "MIVB").

CLOSE TO BUS STOP "Heilig-Hart-College" (i.e. just behind KOEKELBERG Basilica, where "avenue Charles Quint" starts direction motorway Ghent, Bruges & Ostend) : routes 213 & 214 (De Lijn) joining the cities Aalst & Asse and Brussels up to "North Station" and passing along "Simonis".

At same "Heilig-Hart-College" you can also catch 87 (to "Simonis") in case traffic between "Nereus" and "Heilig-Hart-College" is making progress too slow (e.g. at rush hours). From there, 87, 213 and 214 can (AND REALLY DO) reach "Simonis" within max. 6 minutes (regardless of other car traffic, because they run on their own paths there; however, this only valid from here to Simonis; in the opposite direction NOT SO...)

{ Since April 4th 2009 "SIMONIS" has become a good starting point to various destinations, because the Metro-routes have been changed and their FREQUENCIES INCREASED. }

All details on above available : - for MIVB : from www.mivb.be for city center and suburbs, - for "De Lijn" : from www.delijn.be for buses linking Brussels city center to many, many country sites AND PASSING BY A LOT OF BRUSSELS PLACES.

Other interesting sites to have a look at are : www.nmbs.be (national and international railway having quite a lot of "stations" within Brussels) and : www.infotec.be , equivalent of "De Lijn" but going to the South of Brussels (Frenchspeaking places) whereas "De Lijn" goes to the North (Dutchspeaking area).

UNDER www.mivb.be you will find a chapter called "abonnementen" (i.e. season tickets) amongst those there is a very useful one allowing you to "jump" from one "net" to another one; read "MTB". These start the first day of each month and end the last one. Instead of a one-month ticket, you can also buy a one-year ticket at price of only 10 months. Prices depend on your age.

............CREAM OF THE CROP : I have been lucky enough to have NO ANSWERING MACHINE at all installed, which means that, when I am not home, you will never have to spend any penny to be informed about my absence.

In such cases, please send your DIRECT MAIL-ADDRESS to mine, [ As I am a "Premium Member", NOTHING will be erased by the "System" ] .... and don't lose patience nor hope.

4) Appartement.

3rd floor in building of 4 floors. Lift. 3 out of the 4 outer walls have windows : thus, except (small) hall and toilets, all rooms get VERY GOOD LIGHT.

- back outside wall (+/- West) : 2 sleeping rooms :

+ ROOM 28, i.e. yours ( 3 x 4 m.), has three blank walls and the fourth (outside) wall has a glass double door ( approx. 195 cm high and 2 x 70 cm broad) giving acces to balcony- terrace (under high roof) looking from South-West to North-West;

(third side being your room and fourth one being an unheated, but well-ventilated storeroom. ONLY YOU HAVE ACCESS TO THIS ROOM, TERRACE AND STOREROOM and only you have the keys of both room and storeroom. You enter your room directly from the small entry hall (with hatstand). This door is opposite to your glass double-door.

Your bed : approx. 170 cm broad and 200 cm long.

+ ROOM 72 is next to yours and is situated at the corner of the appartemnent, formed by back outside wall and lateral outside wall; this room has two blank walls, one of which has a door from the hall to the room, just like room 28 and is separating it from bath room situated on the lateral outside wall. Therefore it has two windows : back and lateral walls, but no access to any terrace nor storeroom.

[ Besides 28 & 72, there is no any other sleeping room here. This was an example of Brussels joking.]

- lateral outside wall (+/- North) : from back to front of flat :

+ above said room 72; + above said bathroom { with washstand, bath with shower } + living room, 7 M LONG, with one window at distance of approx. 1 m from the bath room wall.

- front outside wall (+/- East) :

+ living room, 4 M BROAD, with window on total width { forgot to tell above that near to front, there is also a second (small) window in lateral living room wall : 60 cm, forming the corner with larger window of living's front wall };

+ kitchen, width : 180 cm, from which 120 cm are windowed; length : 320 cm; one small square table and 2 to 3 chairs (e.g. for breakfast); usual kitchen equipment, but not "super de luxe", e.g. no micro-waves oven and such things, but sockets enough to install whatever you would like to carry with you.

Gas cooker, 4 burners and oven : yes. Fridge with separated deepfreeze compartment : also. Coffee machine : yes; however, not "espresso".

--------------------------- Same as what I just told you about micro wave oven, electric toaster etc. in the kitchen, is also valid for the living room and/or your own room :

no radio, no TV available here now, but you might bring in all things you want to install and drop them where you like.

In the living room :

in the middle of it you have a table (I TRY very hard to keep it free...) and chairs, you may use (as well as the kitchen) to work on or/and to dress for visits/meals with your friends.

{ You then just please tell me in advance whether you prefer me to stand in your way or to go to hell for a while. Simple, isn't it ? }

"My" bureau in this room is close to the wall between living room and bath room, facing this latter wall. Thus : I have the window on my right hand side. On this desk you find a PC, a screen, a colour-printer etc. connected to "Internet".

You may use all this free of charge within the limits of my fixed all-in monthly volume agreed upon with operator "Telenet". If you need more, you have to pay just for the over-consumption as shown on the Telenet-invoices I will submit to you. Of course, instead, you might ask Telenet to connect you directly (from the corner on front wall next to the kitchen).

Telephone is on same desk. I have got a cable installed for this phone, long enough to enable you to isolate yourself for private conversations into your sleeping room or even onto the terrace, whether it is raining there or not.

Conditions for use : same as for Internet; I show you the Telenet-invoices indicating the extra's, IF ANY. Also same as for Internet, you might ask Telenet a separate phone number for you. { How they do it, don't ask me because I am a very big ZERO in this fields (just like for many other matters [*]), but previous visitors often came in with just a wireless thing and found their way very good. }

[*] MULTA SCIO SED PLURA IGNORO ! ( = I know many things, but the quantity of things I do not know is largely bigger.) -------------------------------

Price includes rent, insurance, cleaning products, bed and towels laundry, all kind of possible as well as impossible taxes our dear authorities have been able to invent, PLUS : water, gas and electricity.

Of course, in case you cannot do without 3 to 4 full baths a day instead of only one or two showers, we shall have to reconsider the matter. (If so, please tell me in advance. Thanks !)

If you stay on your own : normal price. If you bring in a second person : extra charge for use of hot water because of very high price for natural gas here in Brussels, to be agreed upon also in advance (something like 50 €/month).

VERY IMPORTANT (I think) :

a) from your room 28 you can see some gardens and low situated roofs (working places, garages, I do not know); BUT RECENTLY THE OWNERS (now I know who they are : the authorities of the city of Ganshoren) announced their intention to dismantle all this nasty and they have already begun. Thus : the satellite photo below my advertisement is not valid any more with respect to this. Your nearest neighbours ("face-à-face") are far enough away to enable you to ignore them totally (and to be ignored by them). (By the way, you can always close the curtains "for safety's sake", but none of your predecessors was used to do so.)

THUS REMEMBER : VIEW IS more or less GREEN AND rather BROAD.

b) looking out of the windows of kitchen and living room, you can see a public park situated on the opposite side of 'our' street, (at , say, 25 m. distance) with grass, some trees and two wooden tables, each provided with two benches and another isolated wooden bench without any table.

The nearest neighbours on this side are still much farther away from here than are those on the back side. One may consider them totally non-existing.

THUS REMEMBER : VIEW STILL GREENER AND BROADER THAN ON BACK-SIDE.

By the way, the living room is the most pleasant place for you to stay and enjoy. Same for your visitors.

c) a few meters from here there is another smaller green area, and half-way between here and the Basilica there is a still bigger one.

d) on top, at 15 minutes from here you'll find VERY, VERY LARGE GREEN SPACES.

( If you have become too tired to walk back home, you may use a bus : from Sunday to Thursday evenings up to midnight; on Fridays and Saturdays up to 3 o'clock in the morning.)

( In the opposite direction, this so-called "Noctis bus, line N 16" starts collecting people at "Porte de Namur", crosses the City Center and can safely drop you opposite to Van Overbekelaan n° 131, provided you did not forget to ring the bell.) ---------------------------------------------------------------------

!!!!! Brussels Public Transports are cheaper if you buy season tickets of course. I am prepared to go and buy what you need beforehand in your stead if you like. I then would need (to be sent well in advance at my postal address) :

1) a (recent) identity photo (preferably one of yours) and 2) a photocopy of your ID card.

If you drive a car, there is always possibility to park it at walking distance and the neighbourhood is safe. Technically, it is not possible to install any washing machine in this flat. There are two "wash saloons" just a few steps from here. You can have your clothes washed at different temperatures at same time in different machines and you can spend your time having a crack with members of the local population. I can also go in your stead, except maybe for "more private" things like underwear : but up to 40/50 °C you may help yourself at home in the bathroom. More pictures of the place are available upon request. To take up your residence here is NOT permitted. Bank deposit : 500 €, valid as FIRM CONFIRMATION OF YOUR AGREEMENT A WELL AS OF MINE. Monthly payments : penultimate working day prior to considered month.
